I absolutely LOVE the Gems & Jewels for making such a difference in my kids’ life ranging from the ages of 5-17. They have been a part of the organization for the past 4 years and I have witnessed the change in their behavior and academics. Also, their confidence level has skyrocketed.
The Gems & Jewels helped me to develop my social skills and got me in touch with my self-identity.
What I have grown to love about the Gems & Jewels program is that it has helped me to see myself in a positive way. Before attending the program, I had low self-esteem and didn’t see the value in myself; but after participating in the program, I now know that I have value and what my worth is
I have been mentoring youth programs for over twenty years. Gems & Jewels is a youth mentoring program that provides unique-like skills that are essential for the success of our community and more importantly for the success of our young people.
